Isn't this hilarious? It's an air bag.

This happened in Florida after Hurricane Charley.

Happy St. Patrick's Day!

First off, I love European voltage. 220 volts. yep yep. It makes my hair easier to straighten. sdfsdff i am so lame.

Today I went on a class field trip to Ostia Antica. It is the really awesome city about a half hour form the city. It is an old port city, when the sea used to be this far inland (now it has moved back about 7km). There were ruins of almost an entire Roman city. It was really cool. Walls and rooms everywhere. "Um, we archaeologists have just excavated this site, and discovered 'a series of small walls'." sdfsdfsdfsdf  eddie izzard rocks my socks. Anyway, we went to go see an old Jewish synagogue from the 1st century or something. It was pretty cool. The day was gorgeous, the birds were chirping, and I was loving it. I love Italy because they don't have everything blocked off and under glass. We walk on the ancient floors,  touch the walls,. took a chunk of ancient Roman brick. Er uh, just don't worry about that. I mean,it was just layingo n the ground. It's not like they don't have enough to go around. And it is not like I chipped it off with my icepick. There is almost no one around to stop you. It is like they are so used to this history thing that they have no need of out of control preservation rules. On the other hand, is America, who cases with glass, puts up bars, and litters the country with "do not touch" signs. Come on people, our country is like 300 years old. Let us live a little and experience it ourselves. Not everything has to be a giant museum. so silly.

I listened to latin music today and deeply missed my Tobagoning days. Tobagan is a dance place in C.Rica...it is benissimo! I love latin dancing. I think we are actually going to go next Tuesday night. Cat, are you on?

Well, it is almost time for my jolly little dinner here at Bernardi campus. Then I am off to down a couple of pints in honor of the homeland. Ireland that is. sdfsdf I love being Irish. We have such a good excuse for having so much fun.

anywho. ciao ciao!

Top of the morning to ya! (or evening, whatever)

THERESA
